Right Moves for Youth is dedicated to empowering the youth of our community. This would not be possible without the help of our volunteers, donors, and staff. RMFY hosts some of the most notable events that Charlotte and surrounding areas has to offer. Here is a list of the events we host, and maybe we will see you at the next one.
Right Moves for Youth's Twilight 5K Road Race and Walk To register for Right Moves for Youth's 2012 Twilight 5K Presented by CPI Security visit the following site: http://sportoften.com/events/eventDetails.cfm?pEventId=8932 Team Registration (Please Download .PDF Here to Register) This race is one of the most well known running events in the Charlotte area. We generally see some 3000 runners and walkers scattered among the streets of uptown Charlotte. This race is unique because it is conducted in the evening as opposed to being in the early morning. It is truly an all out good time, entertainment, food, fellowship, and lastly it supports a good cause. Keep your eyes open for race details and registration information. Twilight2

March Madness Tournament To play you must pay. This is the very concept that motivates many of the youth in our program. Students who are improving their attendance, behavior, and academic performance are rewarded. Achievement is recognized by providing students opportunities to participate in cultural and athletic events. The most anticipated arch Madness competition. This event gives our youth the chance to compete in stepping, cheerleading, and basketball. This event is a reward for youth who strive for excellence, and is supported by Antawn Jamision. Antawn Jamison is a NBA standout and Charlotte native, he sponsors this event every year as part of his "A Better Tomorrow" campaign. More information on this initiative can be found at www.antawnjamison.com. More to come soon on the date of next year's event. Antawn jamison’s 2011 (officer bostick)
