At Right Moves for Youth (RMFY), we believe that every student deserves the support, guidance, and opportunity to succeed—no matter their zip code, background, or circumstance. For more than 35 years, we’ve been walking alongside Charlotte’s middle and high school students, helping them reach high school graduation and beyond.

What started as a grassroots effort by a school resource officer has grown into a city-wide program that reaches hundreds of students each year in schools across Charlotte. Through our unique group mentoring model, RMFY provides a safe space for students to connect, build social-emotional skills, and develop leadership abilities that will carry them through school and life.

But our work doesn’t stop there. We expose students to new possibilities through career panels, corporate partnerships, field trips, and events—all designed to broaden their horizons and show them what’s possible.
