We are thrilled to announce two milestone leadership appointments that mark an exciting new chapter for Right Moves for Youth: Aisha Strothers as our new Executive Director, and Demetrius Wilson as the new Chairman of our Board of Directors. 

Aisha Strothers, Executive Director 

Aisha is an accomplished nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of experience in youth development, fundraising, and organizational leadership. She most recently served as Executive Director of Greater Steps Scholars in Charlotte, where she led strategic planning initiatives, strengthened board engagement, and grew the organization’s budget and impact. Aisha holds an MBA from Howard University and brings deep roots in Charlotte’s nonprofit community, along with a proven track record of building the kind of partnerships that create lasting opportunities for young people.

Demetrius Wilson, Board Chairman 

Demetrius currently serves as Executive Director of Payments Products at Wells Fargo and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee State University Foundation. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for strategic leadership, mentorship, and expanding opportunities for the next generation.  A RMFY Board member for 5 years, Demetrius has served as Vice Chair for the past two years.
